Anise flavor. This sweet licorice taste is pleasant and used  to make Italian Biscotti.  Also used to flavor the European Springerie cookies.  LorAnn's super strength oils are 3 to 4 times the strength of water (alcohol-based) based extracts. Use in candy making, cakes, cookies, frostings, chocolate coatings, desserts, ice cream and other confectionery applications.

When substituting these oils for extracts, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract.
